Canada Authorizes Freezing of Bank Accounts
Citizens who promote "illegal" activities no longer have rights..
If you repeat a lie long enough, eventually it becomes fact.
Lies have transformed into reality over the past years. Arguably this has been happening within the public view for about 20 years. 9/11 made it okay for the government to openly spy on their citizens. For any reason as vague as whatever they define as a threat. We knew from the beginning that power would be used against us. Regardless of "government" saying otherwise.
Last night Canada moved a step further towards the abyss. Proving there are no such things as government guarantees or promises. Governments define what is illegal or legal, the people get no say.
Justin Trudeau invoked the "Emergencies Act" centralizing all power in the hands of the federal government. Bypassing all of the authority provinces possessed. All said to be temporary and necessary for shutting down "illegal" protests occurring around the country.
Centralization of this magnitude with no legal reason is nothing short of a fascist takeover. The likes of which haven't been seen since the 1930s in Germany..
Last week a section of the trucker protestors blockaded parts of Ambassador Bridge, a major trade route between Canada and the U.S.. Over the weekend the protestors were dispersed with the bridge traffic fully returning to normal.
The "Coutts" blockade also disbanded today under weight of political pressure. Both of these convoy groups were overwhelming peaceful throughout the previous weeks. Remaining peaceful even as their protests came to an end.
Simple people standing up, exercising their right to peacefully protest have now been shut down due to government pressure.
Luckily things in Ottawa remain strong. Dispite Trudeau and the medias attempt to frame the protest as illegal and a blockade are far from true. Thousands have remained peaceful for weeks. Having every intention for it to remain that way until freedom is restored.
The "Emergencies Act" has given Canadian financial institutions the ability to freeze/suspend any accounts suspected of involvement in these illegal blockades. Pause for a second and realize there never were any true blockades that completely impeded movement. The so called "blockades" that did exist have peacefully been disbanded.
There has been no disruption of travel or life in Ottawa due to the protests. Government has produced the only disruptions seen throughout the city by urging businesses to close their doors.
Do not worry anyone who complies to the cities orders will be compensated finically.
The Canadian government just allowed accounts to be frozen for anyone suspect of "illegal" activity. "Illegal" activity that for some reason only they get to define.
Crowdfunding platforms and payment service providers now fall under terrorist financing groups. As defined under the anti money laundering and terrorist funding rules. Crypto was also included making is not so safe after all.
With no court order needed, reasonable suspicion is the only requirement. Institutions are given complete protection against any form of civil suit as long as good faith is being exercised.
Ironic how only the government gets to decide what acting in good faith is..
A possible result to such insane moves could be a run on the banks.
With so many people being involved in the protests. Truckers and supporter alike could decide to take all their cash out of the banks. A few thousand people doing so all at once could result in a bank run. Where in, the banks do not have the necessary cash amounts to met customer withdrawals.
Insane action like this should 100% expel anyone's thoughts of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) in being a good thing. As seen in Canada in order for people to lose access to their bank accounts government has to "authorize" or enable it.
CBDCs cut out the middle man, commercial banks, giving everyone an account with the Federal Reserve/the Countries Central Bank. At this point the government does not need to authorize anything they just freeze your account.
Freezing ones account is just the tip of the ice berg.
With such centralized control if someone is engaging in social activities viewed negatively upon by government. Results could be negative interest rates, limiting the amount of currency you could possess. Insanely high interest rates making it harder for you to afford more expensive purchases such as a house or car. Limiting which items you buy based on there view in the eyes of government.
Not to mention having access to every single transaction that is made on a daily basis. Allowing for micromanaging of peoples currency to an extent that virtually is equal to controlling every movement someone makes.
This all sounds impossible but Canada has just done the quite part out loud.
If Canadians do not rise up to met this extreme overreach of their government. Countries around the world will be given the green light to roll out such things as CBDCs.
These things pose extreme threats to personal rights and liberties.
As Trudeau has said, “We are only restricting your rights and liberties temporarily in order to protect them”.
The lack of opposition both within the Canadian government and from other countries not condemning such government overreach further proves the west's decline. Slowly moving away from rule by law but rather rule by decree. Those people being whomever possesses political power at the time. While simultaneously eliminating any opposition by whatever means necessary.
It is becoming to normal for our politicans and leaders to announce when they are taking away are rights due to things they deem appropriate or inappropriate.
The pride and calmness they show highlights how naïve they truly are.
Back in the day the government didn't warn you they were going to freeze your bank account. You woke up one day not having access to any capital and your bank account was gone. The next day you were gone never to be seen again. That is a dictatorship. That is tyranny and it is here!
They might not be after you now but give them one reason and they will be..
